The role has required mediation, networking, advisory discussions, communication with practitioners across varied nationalities as well as physical contribution in exhibition making and outreach programming.

Started in 2013, the ‘International Print Exchange Programme India’ is a non-profit initiative through which printmakers share their work with each other across the globe. The initiative has generated a community of 340 participants from 49 countries contributing a fantastic run of 110+ exhibitions around the world. Annually, a portfolio of prints based on a curated theme is produced, and exhibited by each participant in their country or region. The portfolio has become a common ground for connections, collaborations and exchange and presents printmaking to a wider audience each year. Entirely achieved through the act of creative barter, IPEP India celebrates its 10th year through 2023-24, with a traveling exhibition of the ten years portfolios at the Bihar Museum and the Government Museum and Art Gallery in collaboration with Lalit Kala Academy of Chandigarh, along with a symposium which will be followed by a scholarly publication of essays with contributions by practitioners from around the world.
