In ‘Garden of Memory’ Alamu Kumaresan transforms mundane objects into receptacles of memory and lived experience, drawing viewers into her visualisations of home and sanctuary. Constructed through the slow crafting processes of embroidery on textile, the works traverse boundaries between real and imagined, past and present, presences and absences.
