Taking inspiration from popular cinema, The Yellow Brick Road offers a contemplative space that is symbolic of the passage through life’s complexities. The ten artists featured in the exhibition approach the subject through varied lenses, observing the tangible world, exploring personal philosophies, creating commentaries and communicating internal experiences. In a gentle overlapping of fantasy and reality, abstraction and representation, the compilation of work in varied mediums presents expressions stemming from our contemporary times and reflections on the human condition.
